"Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” With this inspiring mission to go green, the students of Grade II embarked on an exciting summer vacation project: creating plastic bottle planters. Each student repurposed an empty plastic bottle by cutting off the top portion, decorating the bottom portion with paint or adhesive decorations, and then filling it with soil to plant small seeds or seedlings. Throughout the summer, the students diligently watered their plants daily, deepening their connection to nature. They monitored the growth of their plants weekly, ensuring that multiple planters were well cared for. At the end of the project, each student brought one of their planters to school to share the joy of growing plants with their classmates. This activity not only provided a practical platform for cultivating herbs and flowers but also instilled in the students a lasting appreciation for the importance of planting and conserving trees for future generations. Together, they sowed the seeds of change for a greener future. ""
