Shark Tank activity was conducted for the students of Grade XII C and D as a part Economics under the subtopic How India can develop with small scale and large-scale industries.
Students had developed the holistic educational experience which will not only equips them with practical entrepreneurial skills but also fostered personal growth and prepared them for success in a dynamic, competitive world. Through the Shark Tank activity students nurtured essential entrepreneurial skills, such as idea generation, business planning, and investment pitch. They enhanced 21 st century skills i.e critical thinking, effective communication, collaboration, and team work. Students had also experienced decision-making from both entrepreneur and investor perspectives, honing their ability to make informed choices in business and investments. The Shark Tank activity also promoted creative thinking, inspiring students to generate innovative solutions to real-world problems. Through their pitch presentations, students had gain confidence in public speaking and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
The activity had inspired creativity and innovative thinking, enabling students to approach
challenges with inventive solutions.
The judge for the event - Mr Ranjeet Deshmukh who is the founder of RoadBounce which is an AI -
driven road condition assessment tool and was also a part of Shark Tank India Season 1 where he
pitched this particular venture. And the second judge Mr. Rajesh Singh is a business operations
expert having more than 25 year of experience in the IT Services Industry. He has also worked with
startups and successfully led them in adopting emerging technologies focusing on the customer
business needs.
Both the judges motivated the students by addressed the students by saying “Don’t be afraid of
failure, it’s often the stepping stone to success. Grab the opportunity, learn, adapt, and come back
stronger.” He also added the world needs visionaries and change-makers.
