The students of grade X G presented an assembly on the topic ’Navratri Celebration’ conveying the message that Navratri is not just a religious festival but a celebration of life, culture and community. It reminds us of the power of goodness and the strength that each one of us has within us. As we celebrate Navratri, let us embrace the values of courage, devotion and togetherness.
A skit was performed by the students on the topic - “Triumph of Good over Evil - the story of Goddess Durga and Mahishasura." The skit was about the victory of Goddess Durga over Mahishasura, which symbolizes that no matter how powerful negativity, ignorance or injustice may appear, they are all temporary. Truth, righteousness and good ultimately prevail.
Students also presented a vibrant dance performance to celebrate the spirit of Navratri by reflecting the essence of joy, unity, and cultural heritage. The synchronized beats, colourful attire, and graceful movements showcased how dance becomes a medium to connect hearts and spread positivity. In these moments, we set aside differences and celebrate life with harmony and gratitude.
