Having fun while learning helps students retain information better because the process is enjoyable and memorable.
The students of Grade 10 were asked to collect the information provided about the minerals and the energy resources available to us, with reference to their textbook.
The students were asked to draw a Caricature of the assigned minerals and energy resources and were also asked to write the properties of the said minerals. Students were engrossed in doing the activity and were able to create a visual presentation that was informative as well as easy to retain.
This group activity helped the students to know the importance of teamwork, coordination which was presented in an artistic way.
