The secondary section of Amanora School celebrated World Friendship Day on Tuesday, 6th August 2024. The aforementioned was commemorated through an assembly by the students of class 10th I.
A heartfelt assembly on the different accounts of friendship was conducted. The pyramid of friendship was explained, and kids were taught the hierarchy one must follow to become the best versions of themselves. The foundation being friendship with self, followed by family, friends and school, underlying country and the friendship with the cosmos taking the peak.
Felicitation of Shaurya Arora for bagging the Bronze medal for the Maharashtra State Rowing competition held in June 2024 took place. His outstanding performance has also resulted in him being selected for the nationals.
An interactive session by the class teacher Shivani Kulkarni concluded the assembly.
