"Empowering Minds And Breaking Barriers!” Amanora School was proud to host an inspiring session on 20/08/2024 for grade 8 and 9 students with Vaishnavi Jagtap, Indian Para Swimmer and motivational speaker. Born with spina bifida, which resulted in inability to use 75 percent of her body,Vaishnavi's journey from physiotherapy to winning 37 gold medals,2 silver medals ,4 bronze medals and representing India globally is a testament to her determination and spirit. The session, facilitated by Ms. Sonia Bharadwaj, emphasized the importance of kindness, inclusivity and breaking barriers for people with disabilities. Students participated in a creative visual exercise, realizing the power of acceptance and respect. Ms Vaishnavi Jagtap shared her story, encouraging students to acknowledge and celebrate unique abilities and achievements. She appreciated Amanora school's inclusive education approach, welcoming learners of all abilities. The session was part of the Samarth Initiative, which aims to empower people with disabilities by changing attitudes and providing opportunities. With Mega Star Shah Rukh Khan as its voice, Samarth seeks to create a stress-free environment for people with disabilities. Madulikka Ma'am congratulated Vaishnavi for her accomplishments and reiterated Amanora school's commitment to embracing diversity and promoting inclusivity. Students pledged to change perceptions and empower people with disabilities, showcasing their greetings for Paralympic athletes and wishing them luck for the upcoming Paris Paralympics. ""
