International Literacy Day, is celebrated annually on the 8th of September. This is a day to highlight the importance of literacy to development, education, and poverty reduction. This year, the day focuses on "Promoting multilingual education: Literacy for mutual understanding and peace”. To sensitize our young learners on this global program, an assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VIII E on Wednesday 04th September 2024. Literacy is not just about being able to read and write, but also about being able to understand and communicate effectively. It is a fundamental skill that is essential for personal development, economic empowerment, and social inclusion. This was creatively promoted through an enthralling skit. The assembly witnessed humongous zeal and excitement among the students.
