A graphic organizer-making activity was conducted for the students of Grade VII during the Social Studies period with reference to the chapter Our Environment. Students made captivating graphic organizers to illustrate the various components of the environment – Natural, Human, and Human-made. The charts encapsulated all the external factors and conditions in which we live. That includes the natural and fabricated materials we use for shelter, food, and water, other organisms including other humans, and the weather. The task of preparing creative charts was a fun way of learning and understanding the concept. The activity productively engaged different types of learners enhancing a good teaching-learning experience. Humongous zeal and excitement were seen among the learners.
