Model Making Activity on the life cycle of a silkworm was conducted for the students of Grade VII during their Science period with reference to the chapter “Animal Fibres”. Students created models to illustrate the 45 to 55-day life cycle of the silkworm from the materials available at their homes and presented them to their peers in the class. Students labelled their models to clarity. This activity enabled the students to understand the concept of the life cycle of the silkworm. Students enjoyed making the models and participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
