Through the development of critical thinking, creativity, imagination, and innovation, arts integration offers a powerful way to create a new learning environment consistent with the cognitive and expressive demands of the 21st century. Students engage in a creative process that connects an art form with another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both. Poster making activity was organized for the students of Grade VII during their Math period in reference to a Math chapter “Symmetry”. Students made enticing posters on Mandala Art. A mandala is a geometric design or pattern that represents the cosmos or deities in various heavenly worlds. It’s all about finding peace in the symmetry of the design and of the Universe. They created beautiful posters. The posters were creatively embellished with different symmetrical figures. The activity promoted collaboration and teamwork among the learners.
