Lines and Angles are one of the favourite topics for students as they can relate a lot of them with their real-life scenarios. They perform a lot of activities with enthusiasm but when it comes to learning the different angles made by parallel lines cut by a transversal, they always get confused. To overcome this challenge the following activity was conducted in all sections of Grade VII where first they drew two parallel lines and cut them by a transversal and named all the angles as angle 1 angle 2 and angle 8 then they traced the lines on a translucent paper and named the angles in the same method. Then they cut the corresponding angles and placed them on A4 size paper and they overlapped each other, the result promoted curiosity among them, then they cut alternate interior angles and placed them on A4 size paper. The activity, enabled them to verify and learn how corresponding angles and alternate interior angles are equal. Students participated with lots of zeal and enthusiasm.
