Fractions and Decimals activity was conducted for Grade VII students during the Math period. Students drew rectangular blocks and divided them into equal parts. Each divided part was further divided, where students understood the concept of unit fractions and how a whole number is divided by unit fractions. Students thus were able to find out how many such unit fractions gave them the required fraction without actual division. The students wrote the observation and the conclusion to solve the division of fractions. Students showed relevance of content, creativity, presentation, and time management. They participated enthusiastically and with great interest.
