Every year 24th October is celebrated as United Nations Day since 1945. It was built by the world, for the world. It has been the place for countries to unite behind global solutions to global problems. Solutions to eradicate poverty, spur sustainable development, and stand up for the most vulnerable. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the United Nations’ General assembly’s adoption of the Declaration and Programme of action on a “Cultivating Culture of peace”. An assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VII E on Monday, 21st October 2024. Students encapsulated important facts and the class teacher conducted a quiz based on the United Nations’ Day. Students participated in the assembly with great zeal and enthusiasm.
