World First Aid Day is celebrated annually on the second Saturday of September. It is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about the importance of first aid and equipping individuals with the essential skills to save lives. We can create a safer world where more lives are saved by empowering communities with the knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies. The students of Grade VII B presented an assembly on the topic ‘World First Aid Day’ on Monday, 09th September 2024, which imparted the importance of first aid skills. They emphasized the need for first aid education stating examples of different first aid skills for different injuries and ailments through a skit. The class teacher gave an insight into the importance of first aid skills in our daily lives. The students participated in the assembly with great zeal and exuberance.
