Art-integrated projects help develop a pluralistic perspective and an appreciation for various possibilities. A nature-inspired collage-making activity was conducted for the students of Grade VI during the Social Studies period with reference to a Geography chapter India - Physical Features. Students explored the features of the Sahyadri range of Maharashtra and the Great Himalayan Mountain range of Sikkim. They reflected it on paper, using art forms of both states and their creativity in the form of collages. This activity helped learners to understand the difference between the two mountain ranges in appearance, altitude, temperature, vegetation, wildlife, and the lifestyle of people living in those areas. The outcome of the activity in the form of attractive and informative collages was a treat to the eyes and a repository of knowledge for the students. ""
