A flowchart-making activity was conducted for the students of Grade VI during their Social Studies period where they prepared flowcharts showing the names, duties, and hierarchy of various administrators. They mentioned the designations, functions, and superior officers in each department like maintenance of law and order, land records and revenue collection, health, education, and judicial administration in the district and its divisions. This task of preparing creative flow charts was a fun way of learning and understanding the concept in the correct order. Flow charts make the concept easy to recall too. This activity productively engaged different types of learners enhancing a good teaching-learning experience. Students started making flow charts for other topics also following this interesting activity.
