A Math Lab activity for Chapter 11, "Algebra," was conducted for Grade VI students during the Math period. The students were tasked with creating geometric patterns using straws. By comparing the number of figures formed with the number of straws used for each figure, they discovered algebraic rules underlying each pattern. This hands-on activity greatly enhanced the students' understanding of forming algebraic rules from given patterns. They participated with enthusiasm and showed great interest, demonstrating creativity, effective presentation, and excellent time management skills. The activity provided several benefits: it helped students tangibly grasp abstract algebraic concepts, reinforced their pattern recognition and logical reasoning skills, and encouraged them to think critically and analytically. It also promoted collaborative learning, as students shared ideas and approaches, further enriching their understanding of algebra. ""
