World Tourism Day is celebrated on September 27th to promote tourism and its social, cultural, political, and economic value. The theme for World Tourism Day 2024 is "Tourism and Peace". To promote awareness among the young students, an assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VI F on Monday, 30th September 2024. Students encapsulated the importance of tourism for the growth of a country. Tourism offers great opportunities for emerging economies and developing countries. It creates jobs, strengthens the local economy, contributes to local infrastructure development, and can help to conserve the natural environment and cultural assets and traditions. This was beautifully highlighted through an inspiring poem. Humongous zeal and exuberance were witnessed among the young learners.
