Grade V - Math Lab Dice Activity The Dice Activity was conducted for Grade V students to reinforce the concept of multiples and factors. The teacher divided the students into groups, and each student rolled the dice to obtain a number for which they had to find the multiples. A number grid or snakes and ladders game board was used to skip count and identify the multiples of the rolled number. Students then created a number grid in their notebooks and marked the multiples of the number they rolled on the dice. Additionally, they identified and marked the factors of two-digit numbers assigned to them. Incorporating this math lab activity provided students with a hands-on learning experience, allowing them to visualize and better understand the relationship between multiples and factors. Working in groups fostered collaboration and communication, while the use of dice and game boards added an element of fun and engagement. This activity not only solidified their mathematical skills but also made learning more interactive and enjoyable. ""
