Grade V Compound Words Activity
In our recent class activity, Grade V students embarked on an exciting journey into the world of compound words. Using their prior knowledge and creativity, they independently crafted anchor charts to showcase their understanding of compound words.
Armed with coloured markers, posters, and their imaginations, students dove into the task of creating their own anchor charts. They brainstormed compound words they already knew and carefully selected images to represent each word. Then, with precision and enthusiasm, They wrote out the compound words and drew corresponding illustrations to visually reinforce their meanings.
