The measure of life is not its duration but its donation. Be A Hero, Be an Organ Donor. Life is a Gift, Pass it on. On July 23rd, 2024, the students of grade IX A organized an assembly entered around a crucial topic: Donate Organs -Save Lives. The assembly commenced with a prayer and a thought for the day, emphasizing the significance of organ donation—the ultimate gift of life. During the assembly, a student shared the day’s headlines, covering national, international, and sports news. However, the highlight was a emotional skit performed by the students. Through this skit, they conveyed a powerful message: “Without the organ donor, there is no story, no hope, no transplant. But when there is an organ donor, life springs from death, sorrow turns to hope, and a terrible loss becomes a gift.” Reeti Ma’am, the biology teacher, delivered a captivating speech. She highlighted organ donation camps in Spain, Brazil, and other global events that shed light on this noble cause. Reeti Ma’am also emphasized that by pledging to donate organs, one can continue to impact lives even after death. The assembly served as a reminder that a single donor has the potential to save up to 8 lives and significantly improve the quality of life for many others. The assembly concluded with the national anthem, leaving everyone with a renewed understanding of the importance of organ donation. ""
