Monkeypox is a viral zoonotic disease caused by the monkeypox virus, which is related to the smallpox virus. This event was organised for 9th-grade students to create awareness about this disease. They were informed that the initial symptoms of this disease include fever, headache, muscle aches, backache, swollen lymph nodes and exhaustion. Preventive measures include avoiding contact with potentially infected animals or humans and maintaining good hygiene.
