Grade IX students of Amanora School engaged in a Co-Curricular Activity (CCA)-Photography contest, where they captured moments as per the theme –Rainy season. This activity aimed to engage their creative side, express themselves, and learn more about their surroundings. Activity Details- Participants were instructed that the focus of the photographs should be on the rainy season, capturing elements such as rain, clouds, puddles, umbrellas, people, nature. Each student could submit only one photograph and the photographs must be original and taken by the student. The students applied their creativity, attention to the detail and the ability to look at things differently. Learning Outcome- Students will develop behaviors such as curiosity, initiative, and persistence that will help them engage with the world in productive ways. Students will be able to work independently or collaboratively to achieve stated goals. Conclusion- The CCA was a huge success, providing students’ exposure beyond the classrooms. It affirms the overall development of the students by helping them practice and refine their creative process.  Future Implications- Such activities will continue to be the part of school’s curriculum focusing on their holistic development pacifying their intrinsic quench to do something innovative.
