Mathematics speaks a universal language of symbols and numbers. Every year, July 22 is observed as Pi Approximation Day, also called Casual Pi Day. It is believed that the mirror image of 3.14 is a pie and the value of this number is infinite, which does not end. To celebrate and foster mathematical attitude among our young learners an assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VIII I on Thursday, 18th July 2024 on the topic ‘Pi Approximation Day’. The day marked great enthusiasm and student engagement. The application of Math in our day-to-day life was beautifully presented through an enthralling skit. The event remains etched in the minds of the students, thus connecting them intimately to the world of Mathematics.
