World First Aid Day aims to educate people about first aid's crucial role in tackling medical emergencies and encouraging them to come forward when a situation arises. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) declared the second Saturday of September as the World First Aid Day in 2001. This year's World First Aid Day theme is “First Aid and Sports.” The theme emphasizes the importance of immediate medical attention in the context of sports-related injuries. To promote awareness among the students an assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VIII F on Wednesday 18th September 2024. The students presented a skit showing how to provide first aid to medical concerns. The skit emphasized the importance of knowing first aid as a valuable skill that equips individuals to handle emergencies.
