Independence Day is a time of pride and patriotism, celebrating the freedom countless individuals fought and sacrificed for. It’s a day to reflect on the journey of a nation that struggled against colonial rule to achieve self-governance and sovereignty. To celebrate this freedom an assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VIII A on Wednesday, 07th August 2024, on the topic “Independence Day”. The theme for the 78th Indian Independence Day is “Viksit Bharat.” This theme reflects the government's goal of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, which will mark the 100th year of Independence. This was creatively illustrated by the students through an inspiring skit and an enthralling dance performance. The class teacher further emphasized the role of the youth in shaping the country's future by sharing insights on the four pillars of Viksit Bharat: Youth, Poor, Women, and Farmers. The assembly witnessed humongous zeal and excitement among the students thus filling the ambience with pride and exhilaration. ""
