A hands-on activity is an instructional technique that allows participants to learn by doing. During hands-on activity, participants are directly involved in their learning. Participants get practical experience as they apply their learning and learn from their failures. Yardstick activity Hydraulic Jack was conducted for the students of Grade VIII regarding the chapter Force and Pressure during their science period which provided them with hands-on experience. Students made hydraulic jack models, enabling them to recognize and analyze liquid pressure. Students enjoyed the activity. ""
