Lab work is an integral part of the chemistry experience. It allows students to explore chemical concepts, view changes in matter, and acquire scientific skills in an atmosphere that mimics a professional scientific environment. Lab activity was conducted for the students of Grade VIII based on the chapter Metals and Non–metals during their science period. It helped the students understand and observe the chemical properties of metals and non-metals. The activity provided an experience for the students to gain exposure to reactions, materials, and equipment in a lab setting, which is essential for understanding scientific concepts. They indeed had a great learning experience.
