Maths Centre of Excellence (MCE) is a Ryan Edunation initiative towards creating a love for Mathematics. Introducing this program aims to develop in every student an understanding and love for mathematics. Here at Amanora School, we make our students absorb the essence of Mathematics in different fun-filled ways and nourish their minds. MCE Math Assembly was organized for the students of Grade VIII on Friday, 30th September 2024 to showcase their learning and foster a mathematical attitude within them. The MCE Math Relay, a Quiz Competition was conducted among the finalists from each section selected through a comprehensive quiz conducted as a part of CCA. The quiz contained three rounds named after renowned mathematicians, Ramanujan, Aryabhata, and Shakuntala Devi. Each round had a set of questions based on concepts learned in previous grades and topics taught to date in the current academic year. The students were well prepared and participated enthusiastically demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The anchors motivated the audience by challenging them with some interesting puzzles. The session was elated with numerous fun facts that exuberated the students. The event remains etched in the minds of the students, thus connecting them intimately to the world of Mathematics. The day witnessed humongous enthusiasm and participation from the students. Math quiz helped students improve their base knowledge, speed, and accuracy in Math.
