Every year on April 22, people worldwide celebrate Earth Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness and taking action to protect our planet. The theme for this year is "Planet vs. Plastics," highlighting the dangers plastic poses to our planet and our health. The best out of waste means creating useful or meaningful things out of household waste that otherwise will be discarded. With a little time and creativity, we can turn waste into stunning home decor, while contributing towards keeping the environment clean. To promote awareness and advocate for environmental conservation and sustainability among our young learners the ‘Best Out of Waste’ activity was organized for the students of Grade VIII on Friday, 26th April 2024. Students showcased their creativity by reusing waste plastic materials to make beautiful pen stands, flower pots, toys, wall hangings, stationery holders, photo frames, etc. The activity fostered not only creative skills in students but also inculcated values. The event witnessed humongous excitement and zeal among the students.
