’World Heart Day’, observed on September 29th annually, is a global campaign dedicated to raising awareness about heart diseases. This day serves as a reminder of the need to care for our hearts and recognize the impact of heart disease. Grade VII D students conducted an assembly on the topic ‘World Heart Day’ on Monday, 30th September 2024. The primary causes of heart diseases such as heart attack and heart failure could be linked to poor diet, lack of exercise, and smoking which are considered modifiable factors. This was encapsulated by the students. They shared information on the causes and symptoms of heart disease and its prevention through their speech.
