In India, every year we celebrate National Science Day on 28th February to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman. The theme of 2024 for the National Science Day, launched by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, is “Indigenous Technology for Viksit Bharat”. To acknowledge the efforts of the scientific community who work in exploring more and more ways by which Science can be implemented to make our lives simpler and easier, an assembly was conducted by the students of Grade VII A on Wednesday, 28th February 2024. Students performed a skit to illustrate how science provides an opportunity for the public and scientific community, both domestically and worldwide, to unite, collaborate, work, and contribute to the well-being of India and humanity. The assembly witnessed humongous zeal and excitement among the young learners.
