Model Making Activity on different landforms was conducted for the students of Grade VII during their Social Studies period with reference to the chapter “Major Landforms”. Students created models of the major landforms from the waste materials available at their homes and presented them to their peers in the class. The models included mountains, moraines, u-shaped valleys, plateaus, plains, meanders, oxbow lakes, mushroom rocks, and dunes. Students labelled their models to clarity. This activity enabled the students to understand the concept of different landforms, their formation, and their features. Students enjoyed making the models and participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
