Students usually have an innate curiosity about the world around them. The science lab encourages this curiosity. As they investigate and discover new things, they develop their thinking skills and gain knowledge about the world around them. Therefore, a science lab is essential for students to learn and explain scientific facts and theories. Lab activity was conducted for the students of Grade VII with reference to the chapter “Reproduction in Plants” during their Science period. Students observed fragmentation in spirogyra and budding in hydra under the microscope. This activity enabled the students to identify asexual mode of reproduction in plants. Humongous excitement and curiosity were evident among the learners. ""
