Through story writing students learn how to weave exposition into their story where they craft their dialogues to create good scenes rather than quoting everything in a conversation, describing things using sensory details and figurative language. Story writing activity was conducted for the students of Grade VII during English period. Students wrote down short stories with few illustrations in graphical form with appropriate titles. The activity helped students enhance their creative writing skills as well as use their imagination to draw illustrations.
