In India, Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. He loved children dearly and is fondly remembered as Chacha Nehru by them. After his death in 1964, his birthday was declared Children’s Day nationwide. Children’s Day emphasizes the importance of showering love and affection to each child. Amanora School celebrated this special day by organizing fun-filled programs for our loving Grade VI, VII, and VIII children on Thursday, 14th November 2024. The students were motivated by a special message from Dr. A. F. Pinto -Founder Chairman of Ryan Group of Institutions on Children’s Day. To add to the festive ambiance entertaining games were organized for the students. They were thrilled as their classrooms turned into a happy game zone. They played various games like dumb charades, hangman, pictionary, atlas, musical chairs, tombola, freeze dance, and collaborative drawing, to name a few. They were challenged with some challenging puzzles. The celebration filled the hearts of the students with delight and they enjoyed it wholeheartedly.
