International English Language Day is observed on 23rd April to mark the birthday and death anniversary of famed writer William Shakespeare. The day aims to entertain and inform people about the history, culture, and achievements associated with the language. To commemorate the legend of William Shakespeare an assembly was conducted by the students of Grades 6,7,8 on Tuesday, 23rd April 2024. Students shared a few amazing facts about the English language. They enacted a captivating scene from Shakespeare’s famous tragedy Macbeth, based on the ‘Three Prophecies of the Witches’ with great vehemence. The event highlighted the richness, diversity, and beauty of the English language.
