Activity-based learning is rooted in the idea that children are active learners rather than passive recipients of information. If children are provided the opportunity to explore on their own and are provided with an optimum learning environment, then learning becomes more joyful and long-lasting. Students of Grade VI performed an individual art-integrated activity for the chapter – ‘Sorting Materials into Groups’ during the Science period. They created molecular structures of a few elements and compounds. The student’s work is displayed on the activity board. The activity allowed all individuals to participate actively and explore creatively while building connections between different concepts through an art form. ""
