Students studied the vegetative propagation in potato-underground stem. They planted a potato with nodes in soil and observed the nodes sprouting and forming new shoot which grows to a potato plant. This activity developed curiosity among students to grow vegetative parts of different plants. It also helped the students to relate the subject to real life experience, which helped them to understand the topic better.
