Grade V - CCA- Paper Bag Making
In the year 1852, Francis Wolle commemorated the invention of the first paper bag machine and today we truly understand the importance of using paper bags over plastic bags. Our environment needs our attention and to raise awareness of the environmental benefits by implementing the three R’s is what students of grade V did in their CCA.
They bought old newspapers, gift wrapping papers or any old paper to recycle and reuse them as paper bags. They were engaged in making the most beautiful bag with some other old and reusable materials like flowers, other colour papers, etc. They also used these paper bags to store their stationery and other items. It was a fun activity that taught them all the importance of recycling, reusing and reducing the use of plastic bags
