Gr .III and IV-Jr. Scientist Club - Balloon rocket experiment Grade III and IV students of the Jr. Scientist Club recently participated in an exciting hands-on activity where they created their own "balloon rockets." Using simple materials like balloons, straws, and thread, students were able to simulate the workings of a real rocket engine. This experiment served as a fun and practical demonstration of Newton's Third Law of Motion: the air escaping from the balloon, the "action" causes the balloon to move forward along the string, the "reaction" Through this activity, students gained a deeper understanding of how rockets function, specifically how air and thrust work together to push a rocket forward. The experiment not only reinforced important scientific principles but also provided an engaging and memorable learning experience for the young scientists. ""
