Activities are a crucial part of heuristic learning among children as they help them discover their potential and enhance their learning experiences. Students of Grade IX were engaged in an activity from the subject social sciences in the class, on the topic ‘Factors of Production’. This particular activity helped the learners discover the various methods and processes involved in the production of multiple commodities, such as cotton products and beverages. They also learned about the efficient utilization of resources, realizing the importance of various paradigms and dynamics such as resource scarcity and optimal resource utilization. Their presentations on the topic certainly reflected the desired learning outcomes.
